TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: August 16, 2026
Welcome to Total Athlete Project ("TAP," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Total Athlete Project website and your interaction with our online registration, information, and program services.
By using this website, submitting a registration or inquiry, or enrolling an athlete in a TAP program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional program-specific policies provided during registration.
1. ABOUT TOTAL ATHLETE PROJECT
Total Athlete Project is an athlete development program focused on developing strength, balance, body control, movement mechanics, coordination, and position-specific athletic development.
TAP uses a foundations-first approach designed to develop the athlete behind the skill.
TAP programming is developmental in nature. Participation does not guarantee advancement, team placement, competitive selection, mastery of a particular skill, or achievement within a particular timeframe.
2. PARENT OR GUARDIAN REGISTRATION
TAP serves youth athletes. Registration, enrollment, payment, and the submission of personal information for a minor athlete must be completed or authorized by the athlete's parent or legal guardian.
By registering a minor athlete, you represent that you are the athlete's parent or legal guardian or otherwise have legal authority to complete the registration.
Athletes should not independently submit personal information through TAP's website or registration systems without parent or guardian involvement.
3. PROGRAM PLACEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT
TAP is a structured athlete development system.
Athlete placement and progression may be based on factors including:
-
strength and stability
-
movement quality and body control
-
skill consistency
-
safety awareness
-
focus and coachability
-
developmental readiness
Age, previous experience, time enrolled, attendance alone, or payment does not guarantee advancement or placement into a particular class, level, team, Lab, Academy, or competitive program.
TAP may recommend a different training level or pathway when doing so better supports the athlete's development or safety.
4. ENROLLMENT AND PARTICIPATION
Enrollment in a TAP program reserves an athlete's training position within that program. TAP is designed around consistent participation and progressive development rather than individual drop-in sessions.
Specific program schedules, enrollment periods, attendance requirements, tuition, registration fees, minimum commitments, and other program-specific requirements will be communicated at registration when applicable.
Submitting an interest form, inquiry, application, or registration request does not guarantee enrollment or placement until the athlete's registration has been accepted by TAP and any required enrollment requirements have been completed.
5. FEES, PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS
Program pricing, registration fees, tuition schedules, payment deadlines, and other charges will be disclosed during registration or before enrollment is finalized.
Families are responsible for reviewing the applicable payment terms before enrolling.
Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by TAP's Refund Policy and any program-specific enrollment terms disclosed at registration.
Where recurring payments are used, applicable recurring payment terms and cancellation instructions will be presented as part of the enrollment or payment process.
6. ATTENDANCE
Consistent attendance is an important part of TAP's developmental model.
Absences may affect skill retention, progression, athlete readiness, team preparation, or eligibility for advancement.
Attendance does not by itself guarantee progression. Athletes must demonstrate appropriate developmental readiness before advancing.
Policies regarding missed sessions, make-up opportunities, credits, or program-specific attendance requirements may vary and will be communicated for the applicable program.
7. ATHLETE HEALTH AND SAFETY
Athlete safety is a priority within TAP.
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing TAP of injuries, medical restrictions, physical limitations, or other information necessary for safe participation.
TAP may modify, restrict, or pause an athlete's participation when a coach determines that continued participation may present a safety concern.
Medical clearance may be requested before an athlete returns to unrestricted participation following an injury or medical event.
TAP coaches determine appropriate training progressions based on the athlete's demonstrated control, safety, and readiness.
8. ATHLETE AND FAMILY CONDUCT
Participation in TAP requires respectful behavior from athletes, parents, guardians, coaches, volunteers, and other participants.
Athletes are expected to:
-
follow coach and safety instructions
-
treat teammates and coaches respectfully
-
remain appropriately engaged during training
-
avoid bullying, harassment, gossip, or intentionally disruptive conduct
Parents and guardians are expected to:
-
communicate respectfully with coaches and staff
-
allow coaches to manage training and athlete progression
-
refrain from sideline coaching or unnecessary interruption of training
-
avoid bullying, harassment, threatening behavior, or disruptive conduct
TAP reserves the right to restrict or discontinue participation when conduct creates a safety concern, materially disrupts the training environment, or repeatedly violates program expectations.
9. COACHING AND ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
Athletic development varies from athlete to athlete.
TAP does not guarantee:
-
advancement within a specified period
-
achievement of a specific skill
-
selection for a team
-
competition results
-
scholarships or recruitment opportunities
-
prevention of all sports-related injuries
Coaching decisions are based on professional judgment, observed readiness, athlete safety, and the developmental standards of the applicable program.
10. ASSUMPTION OF ATHLETIC RISK
Participation in physical activity and youth sports involves inherent risks, including the possibility of falls, collisions, strains, sprains, and other injuries.
Program-specific waivers, releases, emergency information, or acknowledgements may be required before participation.
Nothing on this website replaces any separate participation agreement, liability waiver, medical authorization, or other document required for a TAP program.
11. PHOTO, VIDEO, AND MEDIA
TAP may photograph or record training, programs, events, or athletes for educational, operational, or promotional purposes only where the appropriate permission or release has been obtained.
Participation in TAP does not, by itself, replace any separate photo or video authorization required by the program.
Parents and guardians should refer to the applicable media release for the terms governing use of an athlete's image or likeness.
12. WEBSITE CONTENT
Information on this website is provided for general informational and program-registration purposes.
We work to keep information accurate and current, but schedules, offerings, locations, coaching assignments, prices, program structures, and availability may change.
Where website information conflicts with a specific written enrollment agreement or program registration issued by TAP, the program-specific terms will control for that enrollment.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, TAP-owned website content, program names, written materials, graphics, training documents, program systems, logos, branding, and original educational materials are the property of Total Athlete Project.
TAP materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, republished, or represented as another organization's work without permission.
This provision does not claim ownership of third-party methodologies, trademarks, educational resources, or other materials belonging to their respective owners.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
TAP may use or link to third-party services for registration, payment processing, scheduling, forms, communication, social media, or other operational purposes.
Those services may have their own terms, privacy practices, accessibility features, and policies.
TAP is not responsible for the content, availability, or independent practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.
15. PRIVACY
Use of personal information submitted through the TAP website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Because TAP serves youth athletes, parents and guardians should submit registration and athlete information on behalf of minors.
16. ACCESSIBILITY
TAP is committed to improving access to our website, information, and programs.
For information about website accessibility or requesting assistance, please review our Accessibility Statement.
17. CHANGES TO PROGRAMS OR SERVICES
TAP may modify program offerings, schedules, locations, class structures, training formats, coaches, or other operational details when reasonably necessary.
When a material change affects an enrolled program, TAP will communicate relevant information to affected families as appropriate.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
TAP may update these Terms & Conditions as our website, programs, or business practices change.
The current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest revision.
Continued use of the website following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms. Material changes affecting an existing paid enrollment will be handled in accordance with the applicable enrollment terms and law.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
